Job summary

Seneca Foods is seeking an Agriculture Manager to oversee the agriculture department, ensuring procurement and timely delivery of raw product to the plant in alignment with production needs and corporate goals.

The role requires supervising planting, harvesting, and contract management while driving cost efficiency, quality, and service across a growing area in Wisconsin. Excellent leadership and regulatory awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years’ experience in an agricultural setting with supervisory and budgeting experience.
• Knowledge of compliance with all state and federal environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with growers and communities to safeguard company interests.
• Coordinate scheduling of direct materials to meet production requirements and ensure timely operations.
• Manage planting, harvesting, and delivery of raw product to the facility.
• Plan and implement grower contracts to achieve business and crop goals.
• Plan and establish a pest control program and oversee its execution.
• Prepare and submit budgets to meet corporate goals.
