Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree (agriculture-focused) preferred.
• 1+ years of related or on-the-job experience.
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL may be needed later).
• Knowledge of agriculture and plant operations preferred.
• Familiarity with field equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform repetitive tasks with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general plant and field operations.
• Support seed field activities, including planting, maintenance, and harvesting.
• Carry out harvest processes (sorting, drying, shelling, preparation).
• Assist with conditioning tasks (sizing, bagging, palletizing, gravity operations).
• Follow quality and safety standards (ISO work instructions and quality plans).
• Perform warehouse operations, including forklift use and sample collection.
• Complete general maintenance and repair tasks.
• Help coordinate field operations and support workflow/scheduling activities.
• Work overtime or weekends during peak seasons.
