National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) in Minnesota is seeking a dependable Field Enumerator (Part-Time) to collect agricultural information from farmers and related businesses. Interviews will be conducted by phone and in person, data entered on a company-provided device, and hours tracked.

Qualifications

• Dependable, detail-oriented and self-directed.
• Strong communication and basic computer/math skills.

• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and walk up to 100 yards on uneven terrain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with agricultural producers by phone and in person.
• Collect accurate information about crops, livestock, and farming operations.
• Conduct crop counts and observe crop conditions in designated corn and soybean fields.
• Enter information accurately using a company-provided electronic device.
• Track work hours, mileage, and completed assignments.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow NASDA data-security policies.
• Communicate professionally with producers and community members.
