Job summary

Syngenta Canada is seeking a Technical Field Intern to gain hands-on experience evaluating crop protection technologies and digital tools within the Emerging Talent Program. This internship runs May 2027–Dec 2027 and offers exposure to field trials, data capture, and collaboration with sales and growers while developing professional skills in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Student or recent graduate from an accredited university/college.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work in a remote environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Execute the research authorization and validation trial program for the local geography.
• Collect and share data and key learnings to stakeholders.
• Support the development of technical product content and information management.
• Collaborate with the local sales team and growers to ensure projects meet protocol and regulatory requirements.
• Support the incorporation of digital technologies into data capture.
• Lead data compilation across projects with digital data service providers as needed.
• Assist with tours of field sites as required.
