Job summary

MKC is seeking an Agriculture Equipment Operator to deliver and apply agronomy products using company spraying, spreading and tendering equipment. You will operate advanced crop input machinery, perform maintenance, and ensure safety and customer service excellence in field operations.

Essentials include obtaining and maintaining a CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, a Custom Applicator’s license, and a high school diploma or GED. Join MKC to support growers and advance agronomy services.

Qualifications

• Operate and maintain designated sprayer, spreader, and tender trucks as assigned.
• Learn and operate all aspects of the agronomy plant, including repair and maintenance.
• Know MSDS information for agronomy products.
• Develop working knowledge of seeds, chemicals and fertilizer products.
• Obtain and maintain CDL (A) with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Obtain and maintain Custom Applicator’s License (1A).
• Work independently with minimum supervision.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform spraying, spreading, and tendering duties per work orders.
• Operate and maintain equipment per manufacturer manuals; report maintenance needs.
• Mix fertilizer and chemicals per quality standards.
• Report inventory needs to Agronomy Operations Manager immediately.
• Complete daily application records and report discrepancies.
