Job summary

Prairieland FS, Inc. in Kinderhook, IL is seeking an Operations Technician to support agronomy and energy services, operating equipment, handling and delivering products, and maintaining safety and compliance.

You will load, mix, and package agricultural inputs, manage inventory, keep records, and work with a team to ensure timely deliveries and high customer service. This role requires a high school diploma, interest in agriculture, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work flexible hours

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in agriculture and energy work preferred.
• Familiarity with agronomy and energy products, including safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain equipment.
• Experience with inventory management preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate blending and mixing equipment to prepare agricultural products.
• Load and unload energy products and inputs with safety procedures.
• Assist in handling, delivery and storage of fuel, propane and lubricants.
• Maintain records of deliveries, inventory and compliance inspections.
• Operate and maintain energy equipment, including tanks, trucks and pumps.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment; perform inspections and routine maintenance.
• Manage inventory by receiving, storing and organizing products.
• Document and record products, deliveries and usage accurately.
• Keep warehouses and equipment clean and organized.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies for safe operations.
