Job summary

Prairieland FS, Inc. is seeking an Operations Technician to support the operational and logistical needs of its agricultural and energy business.

You will operate and maintain equipment for storing, mixing, and distributing agronomy products (fertilizers, crop protection, seed) and energy products (fuel, propane, lubricants). This role also covers inventory management, loading/unloading, facility upkeep and safety compliance, with a focus on accuracy, reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in agriculture and energy work is preferred.
• Must obtain a valid CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements within six months.
• Commitment to safety compliance and environmental standards.
• Ability to operate, maintain and repair agricultural equipment.
• Experience with inventory management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain agricultural equipment.
• Assist in mixing and loading crop inputs and energy products.
• Load/unload products with accurate quantities and safe handling.
• Support inventory management by receiving, storing and distributing materials.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed.
• Interact with customers to deliver products or provide technical assistance.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and storage facilities.
