Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and valid Texas Teaching Certificate in Agriculture Sciences.
• Knowledgeable in TEA requirements, accreditation standards, and special needs of exceptional learners.

Responsibilities

• Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and times designated.
• Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
• Prepare for classes and provide written evidence of preparation upon request.
• Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
• Employ a variety of instructional techniques and media suitable to student needs.
• Maintain accurate, complete records as required by law and district policy.
• Attend faculty meetings and cooperate with staff on instructional goals.
• Establish and maintain open communication with students and parents.
