Job summary

The United Nations Foundation Inc. is seeking a dedicated Agricultural Data Manager to support the Global Partnership’s agriculture data engagements.

You will work with regional leads to strengthen data systems and coordinate advocacy related to country work in Rome, working closely with government representatives and Global Partnership partners across regions, with emphasis on West Africa. The role requires building trusted relationships, developing knowledge products on agricultural data, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in international development, public policy, agricultural development or related field.
• 5-7 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of data-related issues in the agriculture sector.
• Proficiency in French and English required.
• Experience in data for development and financing for data preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with government partners at country level (National Statistical Offices, Ministries of Agriculture, etc.) to understand data needs and promote data sharing.
• Develop use cases with government partners and advise on implementation.
• Engage with political and technical partners to support country-level agricultural data work.
• Organize meetings, seminars, events and roundtables on agricultural data gaps and sharing.
• Coordinate consultants to assist with the work.
