Job summary

Central State University is seeking an Agriculture Admissions Recruiter to develop and implement enrollment strategies for Undergraduate Sustainable Agriculture and related majors, while guiding prospective students through the admissions process.

Key duties include representing the university at events, coordinating campus visits, and building partnerships with high schools, community colleges, and organizations to promote programs and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agricultural science or related science is required.
• Experience in student services, admissions, recruitment, or outreach is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and to work evenings and weekends for events.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and outreach programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to increase enrollment in related majors and minors.
• Represent CSU at national and local college fairs, high school visits, and events.
• Build and maintain relationships with high schools, community colleges, and organizations.
• Communicate with prospective students and families via email, phone, and virtual platforms.
• Coordinate campus visits, open houses, and recruitment events.
• Maintain accurate records of prospective student interactions in the university system.
• Assist prospective students through the application and enrollment process.
• Collaborate with academic departments to promote programs and opportunities.
• Analyze recruitment data and prepare reports on activities and outcomes.
• Support diversity and inclusion initiatives in student recruitment.
