Kansas State University is seeking a research support assistant to assist the Cropping Systems agronomist and the crop research team. This on-site role supports data collection, harvesting in field and greenhouse plots, and data entry and analysis under established procedures.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year in agricultural sciences, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
This position, which is under the supervision of the Cropping Systems Agronomist, provides assistance to the research crop scientists and crop research team. The worker assists the supervisor in establishing, maintaining, and collecting research data and harvesting field and greenhouse research plots. Following established procedures, the worker provides assistance in data entry and analysis. Provides assistance maintaining lab, greenhouse, and field equipment.
This position is On-site.
