Working Title: Agricultural Specialist I
Department: CAES-Animal & Dairy Science
This position reports directly to the Swine Farm Manager in the Animal and Dairy Science Department (ADS) and ultimately to the Head of ADS. The principal duties include providing day-to-day operational support under the direction of the Swine Farm Manager and Sr. Farm Manager of swine operations; direct involvement in feed preparation, facility maintenance and repairs; equipment operation, maintenance and repair; working with faculty and farm staff to ensure research, teaching and extension missions are accomplished.
40 hours per week with schedule to be determined by supervisor. May include some weekends and holidays.
