Description/Notes: To provide high-quality instruction in agricultural science and agricultural mechanics, preparing students for careers in agriculture, leadership roles, and lifelong learning. The teacher will lead classroom and hands-on shop/lab activities, support FFA programs, and foster strong community connections in a rural school setting.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science, Agricultural Education, or related field.

Valid Texas teaching certificate in Agricultural Science and Technology, or eligibility to obtain.

Demonstrated knowledge and skills in agricultural mechanics (welding, construction, machinery, etc.) and agriculture science (animal science, plant science, etc.).

Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, parents, and community members.

Willingness to work flexible hours for FFA events, stock shows, and community activities.

Preferred Skills and Qualities:

Salary Range: Neg 12 month contract
