Qualifications

• US citizen or US National required.
• Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.
• Background investigation and/or fingerprint check required.
• Direct Deposit to financial institution required for federal employees.
• Successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
• 1-year probationary period required unless previous federal service is creditable.
• Probationary period evaluation will consider performance and agency needs.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to planning steps in experiment or project and to interpretation and documentation of findings.
• Operates and maintains specialized equipment calibrated to achieve results.
• Determines kinds and frequency of tests and amount of data to record.
• Keeps exact, detailed records of experimental data.
• Tabulates, analyzes and summarizes data using PCs and software packages.
• Collects, prepares, evaluates and verifies samples and supporting records.
