Job summary

Sage Ag Inc. is seeking a diligent, self‑motivated test professional to plan, coordinate and perform product test activities in a cutting‑edge verification environment.

You will support data analysis, reporting, and validation across agricultural equipment and products. Key responsibilities include liaising with partners, acquiring test data, documenting results, and collaborating with Product Engineering and other teams to meet design requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Systems Technology, or related field (minimum GPA 2.5).
• Familiarity with modern agricultural machinery.
• Experience in system validation, verification testing, and regression testing.
• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Hands-on experience with equipment setup.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to keep accurate and detailed records of work performed.
• Minimal regional travel (Des Moines, Ames, etc.)

• Become proficient operator of large machinery (forklift, sprayer, detasseler, etc.).
• Provide technical support to other functional areas as needed.

Sage Ag Inc. is currently seeking a hardworking, self-motivated, & detailed oriented individual that is passionate about agricultural technology & machinery. Through this position, you will be working with a major agricultural machinery manufacturer in a cutting-edge testing environment. In this exciting position, you will be planning, coordinating and performing product test activities such as setup, teardown, data analysis and data reporting in support of the Product Verification and Validation plans across various agricultural equipment and products.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison with partners to coordinate all test activities.
• Perform full vehicle and sub-system data acquisition to verify design solutions achieve intended design requirements, specifications and meet customer expectations
• Complete detailed documentation and communication of results within internal systems for prioritization & resolution
• Work in a team environment, providing input to design solutions, providing test data and feedback to various functional teams in support of product validation on products
• Work in coordination with Product Engineering, Engineering Support and other functional groups to accomplish work objectives; including coordinating, assigning and reviewing portions of work with others for support
• Become a regular and proficient operator of large machinery (forklift, sprayer, detasseler, etc.)
• Provide technical support to other functional areas (ME, Marketing, SM, Customer Support) at times as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Systems Technology, or a related field. (Minimum GPA of 2.5)

Compensation: $ 65,000 – 85,000 yearly (based experience)
