Job summary

Seneca Foods in Glencoe, MN is seeking an Ag Mechanic to join our team. You will repair and maintain harvest equipment and related machinery to ensure a steady flow of quality product during harvest season.

Starting wage range of $28.00–$32.00 per hour reflects skills and experience. A two-year degree or equivalent repair experience is preferred and opportunity for growth exists within a safety-focused facility.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent repair experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills.
• Team-oriented and able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of peas and corn harvest equipment and related equipment
• Maintain cost control over equipment for budget purposes
• Maintenance in other areas of the facility when needed
• Responsible for maintaining an even, constant and sufficient flow of product of a quality that meets or exceeds company standards during harvest season
• Employee relations
• Ensure that GMP's (General manufacturing Practices), safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced
• Work in conjunction with Area Supervisors to maintain production and quality
• Other duties as assigned
