You’ll maintain databases, create maps for internal use, conduct ArcGIS analyses, collect field data with GPS, and build dashboards to present GIS insights.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Agriculture, GIS, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a technical geospatial role.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS Desktop and ESRI tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Maintain spatial databases and create data for crop usage, acreage, plantings, and ranch infrastructure.
• Support creation of maps for internal teams and operational planning.
• Conduct spatial analysis using ArcGIS and interpret results related to crop production and land use.
• Support collection and quality control of field data using GPS equipment and mobile applications.
• Coordinate with farming and operations teams to gather data and provide map-based insights.
• Help create user-friendly dashboards and visualizations to present GIS data.
• Perform other duties and special projects to support GIS and Operations teams.
