Job summary

C & B Ag is hiring a Service Technician for our Sibley, Iowa location. The technician will diagnose, service, and repair agricultural equipment, including Deere equipment, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies.

Responsibilities include completing accurate job notes, using a digital timecard, maintaining a safe, clean work area, and promoting service offerings to customers. OT may be required; a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in repair of machinery.

Responsibilities

• Does diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment.
• Participates in training programs for skill development.
• Completes job notes and uses digital timecard.
• Maintains clean and orderly work area and equipment.
• Promotes service department and sells service work and parts.
• Follows safety procedures and works safely.
• Other duties as assigned.
