A leading agricultural equipment company is seeking High School and College Service Interns to assist in service tasks and develop skills in equipment repair. Interns will receive mentorship and participate in safety training. This role requires active engagement in academic programs, effective communication, and the ability to lift heavy materials. Qualifications

• Currently engaged in a high school or advanced academic program.
• Developing knowledge of repair methods for outdoor/agricultural equipment.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills to access maintenance systems.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic service tasks under mentorship.
• Assist service technicians and maintain tools/equipment.
• Complete reports related to job assignments.
• Participates in training programs required for development of skills and knowledge.
• Maintains the condition of tools and equipment.
• Ensure a safe work area and perform work in accordance with identified standards.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments.
• Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.
• May perform pre-delivery set-up and inspection on new equipment.

Duties

• Under guidance of Tech Mentor and Service Manager, performs basic service tasks as assigned.
• Develops skills in removal, disassembly, and reconditioning of components.
• Assists service technicians as needed, including delivery of parts.
• Participates in training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
• Maintains the condition of tools and equipment.
• Ensure a safe work area and performs work in a accordance with identified standards.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments.
• Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.
• May perform pre-delivery set-up and inspection on new equipment.

Skills and Aptitudes

• Actively engaged in the completion of a high school or advanced academic program aligned with the defined expectations of the position.
• Developing knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of outdoor power equipment/agricultural equipment.
