HDR Engineering seeks an Agribusiness Practice Lead to join our growing Industrial Sector.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for profitable growth of HDR’s Agribusiness Practice.
• Provide technical oversight and leadership in project delivery.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop key personnel and build client relationships.
• Collaborate with HDR’s Alternative Delivery Directors to engage with construction contractors and OEMs.
• Leverage HDR’s service offerings across environmental, water/wastewater, transportation, and other sectors into the Agribusiness market.
• Coordinate with Business Group and Operational leadership on planning and budgeting.
• Manage projects and serve as Subject Matter Expert in Agribusiness projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a client manager.
• Monitor market trends and contribute to strategic planning.
• Lead pursuit proposals, scope/budget/schedule reviews, and client feedback activities.
• Participate in business and community activities representing HDR.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in the Agribusiness industry.
• Existing network of clients in the Food & Beverage industry.
• Proven client development skills in consulting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for client engagement and project support.
• Ability to work cooperatively within HDR’s matrix organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, planning, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of industry experience.
• Experience in strategic marketing and client relationship management.
• Experience in staff development and industry association involvement.
• Ability to collaborate with various HDR leadership roles.
• Demonstrated commitment to HDR values and culture.
