Midwest Heritage, a Hy-Vee Company, is seeking an Ag & Commercial Loan Operations Specialist I to support our banking team in West Des Moines, IA. You will handle pre-closing items, process loans, and ensure accurate documentation in our loan/core systems while providing strong customer service.

Ideal candidates have a degree in business and 3+ years of related experience or an associate degree with 5+ years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree with related progressive experience required.
• Knowledge of commercial/agricultural loan operations and related regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process commercial and/or agricultural loans with complete, accurate documents.
• Coordinate pre-closing items like appraisals and flood determinations.
• Prepare, review, disburse, book, and service loans in core systems.
• Authorize and prepare loan documents for final disbursement.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate with vendors.
• Maintain and update loan reports and collateral files.
• Monitor quality control items and coordinate with peers.
