Job summary

United Agricultural Cooperative is seeking an experienced Electrician to install, service, and repair electrical systems across grain handling, bagging, cotton facilities, and warehouses. The role requires strong troubleshooting, safety awareness, and the ability to work across multiple sites in Texas.

You will read schematics, support PLCs and VFDs, and participate in on-call rotations during peak seasons, with a day shift and full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Texas electrician license required.
• Valid Texas driver's license with clean record.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, wiring, fixtures, controls, and components.
• Diagnose electrical problems involving motors, circuits, control systems, machinery, and production equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, diagrams, equipment manuals, and blueprints.
• Assist with PLC/controls and VFD-related work; troubleshoot I/Os, sensors, relays and motor starters.
• Provide on-call and extended hours during peak agricultural seasons.
