Job summary

Buchheit, Inc. is seeking an Agri Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day grain cleaning facility operations including loading, unloading, bagging, and equipment operation at its Perryville facility.

The role reports to the President and requires strong leadership to manage labor schedules and ensure safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include supervising bagging systems, maintaining records, quality control, and adherence to procedures for loading and unloading.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and management staff.
• Must possess strong problem solving and math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Production or manufacturing industry experience is a plus
• Previous forklift experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a consecutive basis required
• Must be mechanically inclined.

Responsibilities

• Operate bagging operation system to properly inspect label, bag, and stack feed products.
• Load bagged feed onto delivery trucks and customer vehicles.
• Inspect and monitor feed quality, weight, and packaging.
• Operate and maintain the proper working order of tow motors, pallet jacks, bagging system, warehouse racks, etc.
• Maintain accurate daily records regarding bag ingredient and production material/equipment deliveries and bag feed production, inventory, and loading.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area (bagging operation and warehouse) for safety, efficiency, and appearance.
• Promote a safe working environment at the facility.
• Maintain facility operating procedures for loading and unloading van trucks and grain trucks.
• Responsible for maintenance and housekeeping oversight at the facility.
• Adhere to Loss Prevention, inventory control, and compliance procedures.
• Manage schedules of laborers.
• Deliver good customer service in all job functions.
• Perform other feed production related functions or duties as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:
