As an Aging in Place Technician, you will collaborate with the Program Director to assess community members and their homes, recommending modifications for safe and independent living. This role involves coordinating with vendors, overseeing installations, educating residents, and managing inventory.

What you'll need:
  • Experience as a handy worker or skilled laborer; ability to support installations like grab bars and bidets
  • Basic computer and inventory control skills
  • Knowledge of aging processes and Durable Medical Equipment (highly desired)
  • Valid North Carolina Driver's License and insured vehicle
  • Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) is a plus but not required

Compensation ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

We are a senior housing organization with over 40 years of commitment to providing housing for seniors across Western North Carolina. We operate four communities and plan to expand further.
