This role is an Aging Care Manager 3, in the Department of Human Services (DHS)/Area Agency on Aging (AAA)/Safety & Support Division, Protective Services Unit. You will work under the general supervision of the casework supervisor to maintain, update, and disseminate extensive knowledge of aging programs, services, and regulations. You will provide technical support to care management and protective services staff and providers/subcontractors and investigate complaints of abuse and/or neglect. You will maintain a caseload of vulnerable older adults who need protection from abuse, exploitation, abandonment, or self-neglect, and recommend cases for court intervention, including guardianships or mental health commitments, and participate in the guardianship hearings, as needed.
