Job summary

SAIC is seeking a dynamic Scrum Master to join the Precision Fires/MLRS program on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. You will lead agile ceremonies, coach teams, and remove impediments to ensure on‑time delivery for national defense initiatives.

You will collaborate with product owners, development teams, and government customers, track metrics, and promote continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline and five (5)+ years or more experience; Additional six (6) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
• Must possess an active Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Scrum Master role.
• Deep understanding of agile principles and practices.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps or JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives and related meetings.
• Remove obstacles and impediments to team progress.
• Promote agile practices and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product owners and teams to prioritize backlog.
• Track and report agile metrics to drive improvements.
• Coach and mentor team members to grow agile skills.
• Ensure compliance with policies and standards.
