Job summary

Accenture Flex in the United States is seeking a Scrum Master to enable the effective functioning of an agile software development team. You will coach the team, remove obstacles and facilitate sprint ceremonies, reporting progress with metrics.

This role requires strong Scrum and Agile Project Management skills and at least seven years of experience. Willingness to be onsite up to four days a week in Pennington, NJ or NYC is required; five days away per quarter may be required by the client.

Job Responsibilities

As a Scrum Master you will be responsible for enabling the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Your day to day activities will include coaching and mentoring the Scrum Team or Teams removing obstacles that hinder progress and facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning daily stand ups sprint reviews and retrospectives. You will also identify and report progress through appropriate metrics. You are expected to be a subject matter expert collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively take responsibility for team decisions engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions and provide solutions to problems within your immediate team, and across multiple teams.

• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices within the team and across projects
• Support team members in understanding and adopting Agile principles to enhance collaboration and delivery
• Analyze team performance metrics to provide actionable insights and foster transparency
• Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities
• Champion a culture of accountability and ownership to elevate the quality and consistency of deliverables

Must be willing to be onsite up to 4 days per week onsite with the client in Pennington, NJ or NYC. 5 days away per quarter is also required by the client.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Scrum is required Advanced proficiency in Agile Process Coaching is recommended
• Advanced proficiency in Agile Project Management
• Associate's Degree

• Agile Methods ADM for Distributed Agile Development is suggested
