Base-2 Solutions is hiring an Agile Developer 1 to modernize a legacy system with a microservices architecture using Java Spring Boot and AWS native services. The role emphasizes RESTful services, Python optimization of AWS resources, and CI/CD practices in an Agile setting.

The candidate should have TS/SCI clearance, a related Bachelor's degree (or higher) and 3 years of relevant experience (or a Master's with 1 year). Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph. CI Polygraph within last 7 years.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Typically 3 years of relevant experience, or Master's with 1 year of relevant experience.
• PhD with 1 year of experience.
• Experience in Agile software development is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java Spring Boot-based microservices using AWS native technologies.
• Use Python to optimize AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, S3).
• Build REST services with Spring to filter and select complex data objects.
• Implement CI/CD principles using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.
• Support Agile software development and delivery.
• Communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
