Job summary

A premier engineering firm based in Maryland is seeking an Agile Developer to modernize legacy operational systems through a microservices-based architecture. This role includes writing Java Spring Boot applications and utilizing Python to optimize AWS services. Candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance, significant experience, and knowledge of AWS tools. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $160,000 to $220,000, along with multiple benefits including 11 paid holidays and PTO.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with polygraph (CI within the last 5 years).
• 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 10 years with a Master's degree.
• Experience working with AWS tool suite such as OSS, DynamoDB, Lambdas, and CloudWatch.

Responsibilities

• Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies.
• Utilizing Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas and EC2.
• Building REST services with Spring able to filter complex data objects.
• Implementing CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab, and GitOps.
• Agile development and delivery of software.
