SUMMARY

This position requires an individual with working knowledge of an aggregate-producing facility. It consists of but is not limited to field engineering, welding, fabrication, general repairs, and self-service of all plant equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to exercise proper care and maintenance of company equipment.
• Be familiar with and incorporate information derived from the manuals for the individual equipment being serviced.
• Must be familiar with and follow all MSHA safety practices and procedures.
• Conduct pre- and post-shift plant and equipment inspections.
• Work without direct supervision, in a self-motivated manner.
• Operate light equipment such as skid steers and water trucks.
• Work from elevated positions using fall protection PPE.
• Be aware of the overall operational health of the plant and plan for necessary repairs, maintenance, and upkeep.
• Utilize tools, torches, and welding equipment.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and field engineering.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Perform additional job duties as assigned.

• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public always.
• Must be willing to work long hours and weekends when necessary.
• Report to the assigned job site in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time.
• Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as well as all company policies.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
