Permian Basin Materials is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to handle sand and gravel materials and to operate, maintain, and care for equipment assigned to the role. The position requires working with loaders, dozers, and other aggregate machinery according to manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of heavy equipment operation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of aggregate equipment (loaders, backhoes, blades, scrapers, dozers) per manufacturer guidelines.
• Load rock crushing machinery, dump trucks, trailers, and pickups with requested material.
• Learn site aggregate materials to differentiate products and keep them in correct, orderly locations.
• Maintain pit traffic flow and direct internal/external traffic for safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety procedures and promote the company safety program (OSHA/MSHA).
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and report defects.
