Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH subsidiary, is seeking an Aggregate QC Technician to test aggregate materials and ensure compliance with ASTM/AASHTO standards. You will perform tests, record results, and communicate findings to production teams, often on night shifts or overtime as required.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and relevant certifications; strong attention to safety, data entry skills, and ability to operate lab equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equal skill level.
• Ability to carry out standardized laboratory tests per ASTM/AASHTO.
• Knowledge of safety, environment and transportation regulations.
• Ability to operate a two-way radio and basic office software.
• Current or working towards HMA ODOT Level 2 or 3 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Test aggregates to verify compliance with specs.
• Record and communicate test results to team.
• Identify mix specifications requirements and adjust processes.
• Use computer software for data entry and reporting.
