Job summary

Jurgensen Companies is seeking a hands-on Aggregate Field Technician to conduct sampling and testing of aggregates in both lab and field environments. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required, with emphasis on accuracy, mathematics, and data reporting.

The role involves interpreting official quality specifications, collaborating with plant teams, and traveling across Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

Qualifications

• Experience not required; training provided.
• Ability to perform sampling and testing of aggregates.
• Proficient in basic and advanced mathematical calculations.
• Capable of interpreting state and company quality specifications (ODOT, KYTC, INDOT)
• Strong problem solving and data-driven decision making.
• Comfortable generating and submitting digital QC reports.
• Excellent communication with remote plant teams and lab staff.
• Willingness to travel across Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate sampling and testing of aggregates using lab and field equipment.
• Perform calculations and record results in digital QC reports.
• Interpret and apply state and company quality specifications (ODOT, KYTC, INDOT).
• Identify quality issues and propose solutions with QC Manager.
• Collaborate with field and lab teams to ensure data integrity and timely reporting.
