Job summary

Simon is seeking a skilled equipment operator to maintain efficient plant operations supporting mining and aggregate production. You will operate heavy machinery such as loaders, excavators, and water trucks while adhering to safety protocols and collaborating with plant staff.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, MSHA certification or the ability to obtain it, and a valid driver’s license. Travel and overtime may be required, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• MSHA certification or ability to obtain certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, water trucks.
• Maintain safety culture and follow company policies.
• Move and stockpile material; load trucks; support sales yard operations.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and minor maintenance.
• Collaborate with plant operators and drivers to ensure efficient operations.
