Job summary

Turnkey Processing Solutions is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead an initial 10-15 person team at a startup aggregate operation in Morven, NC. You will oversee safety programs, planning, pit development, quality control and maintenance to ensure regulatory compliance with MSHA and EPA guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Engineering (Mining or Civil preferred) with 5+ years of plant management experience in aggregates or sand, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Mining or Civil preferred) or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five years of plant management experience in the aggregate or sand industry
• Experience with MSHA regulations and safety emphasis
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a startup aggregate operation and manage a 10–15 person workforce
• Lead safety efforts at the plant, site planning, pit development, quality control and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with company safety and environmental policies and regulatory requirements (MSHA/EPA)
• Manage mine planning, operations, financial, safety, environmental, personnel and community relations duties
