Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc. is seeking a laborer to perform a variety of tasks including lubrication, shoveling, sweeping, steam cleaning, painting, tire work, and mechanical assistance.

Work follows the plant foreman's instructions and requires ability to lift, push, and pull objects with attention to safety. The role includes reporting production issues, operating under varying weather conditions, and willingness to travel, nights, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• One year related experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required with 1–2 years related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and apply measurements.
• Ability to work various shifts (days, nights, swings).

Responsibilities

• Maintaining aggregate crusher, washer, and surrounding environment for safe, efficient operation.
• Shoveling, sweeping, steam cleaning, painting, tire work, and basic mechanical assistance.
• Communicating production issues to supervisor or lead person.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform strenuous tasks.
• Willing to travel and work away from home when required, including nights and weekends.
