Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) seeks an Aggregate Lab Technician to support daily operations in the aggregate laboratory, performing material testing, recording and analyzing data, and communicating results to project managers.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys hands-on work, and is interested in building knowledge of aggregate, soil, concrete, and masonry testing while adhering to safety and QA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical degree preferred.
• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience strongly considered.
• Experience as AET Trainee is a plus; technical surveillance may be required.
• Ability to perform and document laboratory testing with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing in aggregate, soil, concrete and masonry areas.
• Record data and observations of construction materials accurately.
• Conduct test measurements and data reduction for analysis.
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment and report results.
• Communicate findings to project managers and team members.
