Job summary

The Center for AI Safety is seeking a technically oriented Product Manager who will own an agentic product end to end, work closely with researchers, engineers and external partners, and iterate rapidly with AI coding tools.

You will define the roadmap, prioritize ruthlessly, prototype changes with Claude Code or similar tools, and drive product execution in a fast-scaling early-stage company.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Product Management experience on technical products, dev tools, or AI features.
• Hands-on coding/engineering experience and ability to ship code.
• Fluency with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) for rapid prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an agentic product need and build from scratch or accelerate existing work.
• Define the go-forward product roadmap and manage scope and tradeoffs.
• Drive roadmap execution, iterate based on user feedback and data.
