Job summary

AMD is seeking an Agentic AI Systems Architecture Fellow to define the architectural vision for next-generation Agentic AI systems that leverage AMD's heterogeneous compute portfolio. The Fellow will shape end-to-end AI workflows across CPUs, GPUs, DPUs, and software platforms, delivering secure, scalable, and production-ready AI solutions.

Responsibilities include developing reference architectures, PoCs, and collaboration across silicon, software, and customer teams to drive AMD AI platform

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
• Experience designing large-scale AI infrastructures across CPUs/GPUs/DPUs, storage, and networking.
• Familiarity with ROCm, distributed AI systems, and frontier foundation models.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and trusted execution in AI architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define AMD's architectural vision and long-term technical strategy for Agentic AI with real-world use cases and PoCs.
• Architect end-to-end reference architectures optimizing heterogeneous execution across CPUs, GPUs, DPUs, networking, memory, and storage.
• Demonstrate advantages of EPYC-based platforms for agentic workloads and collaboration with silicon teams.
• Architect intelligent multi-agent systems and orchestration frameworks for task decomposition and scheduling.
• Drive data optimization and integration of frontier models with enterprise apps and edge deployments.
• Collaborate with silicon and software teams to influence AMD roadmaps and engage with partners to accelerate adoption.
• Represent AMD as a technical authority through customer engagements and publications.
