Job summary

Bosch is seeking an Agentic AI R&D Intern in Sunnyvale, CA, offering hands-on research in large language models, AI agents, and autonomous systems. You will work with Bosch researchers, mentor-mentors, and apply cutting-edge AI techniques to real-world industrial problems.

You will contribute to designing and evaluating prototypes, publishing results, and collaborating across global teams in Silicon Valley, Pittsburgh, and Boston, advancing trustworthy AI and multi-modal solutions.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a PhD or Master's program in CS/AI or related field.
• Strong research background in Agentic AI, LLMs, ML or NLP.
• Experience developing AI agents and using modern AI frameworks.
• Proficient in Python and modern ML frameworks.
• Familiar with agent workflows: tool use, function calls, memory, multi-step reasoning.
• Independent research experience in design, experiments, and results analysis.
• GPA 3.0+.

Responsibilities

• Conduct novel research in Agentic AI, LLMs and related fields.
• Design, implement and evaluate research prototypes of AI agents.
• Collaborate with Bosch researchers to tackle industrial problems.
• Analyze experiments and identify opportunities for scientific innovation.
• Publish findings in top AI conferences/journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR).
