Job summary

Lattice Semiconductor Corp. is seeking a graduate-level AI systems engineer to design agentic workflows, build multiagent pipelines, and prototype using LLMs. You will evaluate performance and collaborate with hardware and software teams to deliver robust AI-enabled semiconductor tools.

The role emphasizes strong Python, NLP, ML fundamentals, and the ability to learn new frameworks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI or related field.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning basics.
• Knowledge of NLP concepts and applications.
• Familiarity with LLM concepts, prompting and embeddings.
• Foundational software system design knowledge.
• Ability to quickly learn new frameworks and tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic AI workflows, including planning and memory management.
• Assist in building multiagent systems and orchestration flows.
• Prototype agent pipelines using LLMs and prompting techniques.
• Evaluate agent behavior, reliability, and failure modes.
• Contribute to system documentation and design notes.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve system robustness and observability.
