Job summary

Prophecy is seeking a versatile software developer in Palo Alto to build and deploy LLM-powered agents, optimize prompts, and integrate semantic search with vector databases across data platforms.

You will work with Python, REST APIs, and microservices in public cloud, with exposure to Go, AWS, Kubernetes, Java, and Scala to drive production-ready solutions. A £4,000 signing bonus is offered to new hires.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and tuning LLM/agents to quality benchmarks.
• Experience with semantic search, RAG, and vector databases.
• Prompt engineering and optimization expertise.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying agents in at least one use case set.
• Fluency in Python, REST APIs, microservices in public cloud; knowledge of Go, AWS, k8s, Java, Scala.
• Demonstrated ability to take ideas to production.

Responsibilities

• Build and tune LLM/agent systems to meet quality benchmarks.
• Apply semantic search, RAG, and vector databases to data workflows.
• Design and optimize prompts for agent performance.
• Develop and deploy agents for workflow orchestration, data analysis, and automation.
