Job summary

NVIDIA seeks an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of core libraries for agentic applications. You will guide a team building foundational, brand-new technology powering autonomous systems, with a focus on scalable, high-performance agent libraries and reusable building blocks.

You will collaborate across product, research, and engineering to define roadmaps, drive deployments, and ensure quality while mentoring a diverse engineering community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Math, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years total experience with 3+ years in team management; strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Proven track record in designing and deploying modern agent architectures and open-source frameworks; translating PoC to production-grade solutions.
• Strategic vision to translate evolving AI domain into platform roadmaps and high-value technical outcomes.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership, with collaboration in open-source communities.

Responsibilities

• Track and understand evolving agent development patterns across NVIDIA and the broader ecosystem; stay current on research and commercial products.
• Lead a team that identifies gaps in agent architectures and translate insights into agentic tools that boost developer velocity and agent quality with evaluations and feedback loops.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members; foster collaborative and inclusive environment.
• Coordinate the entire development lifecycle from ideation to deployment with flawless execution.
• Integrate high-performance data pipelines, RAG systems, vector databases, and GPU-optimized workflows for high-performance agentic applications.
• Partner with product management to determine project requirements and priorities.
• Lead and grow a high-performing, multi-functional team to standardize procedures and scale adoption of agent libraries.
