Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS or related field.
• 5+ years shipping production software.
• Strong Python and engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience building agent/LLM systems.
• Experience with multiple model providers behind one abstraction.
• Experience in retrieval systems: embeddings, chunking, hybrid search.
• Observability: tracing, versioning prompts, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Build the provider abstraction for model providers across APIs.
• Develop agent orchestration with planning and sub-agents.
• Create human-in-the-loop checkpoints for high-stakes steps.
• Wrap platform capabilities as typed tools behind one integration point.
• Design end-to-end retrieval: embeddings, chunking, hybrid search.
• Build the prompt layer with versioning and trackability.
• Expose guarded model access through a single integration point.
• Instrument model calls, tool invocations, and agent runs for traceability.
• Build evaluation framework with LLM-as-judge scoring.
