Job summary

Taxbit is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer to build autonomous, auditable AI products for tax and compliance workflows. You will design multi-agent systems, prototype with Bedrock/SageMaker, and collaborate with product, data, and compliance teams in a fast-paced fintech environment.

You should have 3+ years in software engineering with AI/LLM production experience, strong Python/TypeScript skills, and a solid grasp of AWS AI/ML services. This role offers a hybrid work model in the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering with 1+ year shipping AI/LLM-powered apps.
• Hands-on experience with AWS AI/ML services such as Bedrock, Strands, AgentCore, SageMaker.
• Strong understanding of agentic patterns: tool use, memory, orchestration, human-in-the-loop.
• Experience designing/evaluating LLM pipelines: prompts, validation, hallucination mitigation.
• Familiarity with AI observability and responsible AI practices.
• Able to communicate AI concepts clearly in agile teams.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, ML, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy customer-facing agentic AI products on AWS-native tech.
• Architect multi-agent systems with reliable tool use and memory management.
• Collaborate with product and customer success to translate problems into AI solutions.
• Own AI feature lifecycles from prompt design to deployment and monitoring.
• Write well-tested code; participate in reviews to share AI knowledge.
• Instrument and monitor agentic systems in production with observability tooling.
• Work with engineers, data teams, and compliance to meet accuracy and regulatory standards.
