Job summary

Commonfund seeks an AI/ML Development Analyst to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions for financial applications. You will build intelligent systems, data pipelines, and APIs using Python, SQL, and modern web frameworks.

Ideal candidates have a quantitative degree, hands-on ML experience, and a track record with Agentic AI, model training workflows, and scalable production code in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mathematics, Data Science, CS with AI or related field.
• Strong Python programming and ML model development experience.
• Experience with Agentic AI systems or autonomous AI workflows.
• Solid SQL and database knowledge.
• Experience with web/API development and ML frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions for business and financial applications.
• Build Agentic AI systems including autonomous workflows and multi-agent architectures.
• Develop data pipelines, model training workflows, and inference services.
• Analyze large datasets to extract insights and build predictive models.
• Design and implement APIs and web-based interfaces for AI/ML solutions.
• Write scalable code using Python and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into applications.
• Evaluate new AI/ML techniques and research for potential adoption.
• Document models, algorithms, and system architectures.
• Ensure solutions follow security, scalability, and reliability best practices.
