Agentic AI Data Scientist - Intermediate

Join to apply for the Agentic AI Data Scientist - Intermediate role at Equifax.

Equifax is seeking an Agentic AI Data Scientist - Intermediate to join our world-class Data and Analytics Center of Excellence (D&A COE). In this role, you will leverage cutting-edge cloud technology to develop analytics-related AI and ML solutions.

Our hybrid work schedule includes 2 days remote (Monday and Friday) and 3 days onsite (Tuesday to Thursday) weekly. This position reports to our Alpharetta, Georgia office. Please note, this role does not offer immigration sponsorship, including F-1 STEM OPT extension support. It is a direct-hire position and not open to C2C or vendors.

What you’ll do

• Create AI agents and RAG databases to address problems in marketing analytics, sales insights, peer benchmarking, economic trends, and interactive dashboards.
• Develop AI Agent tools for automating data retrieval, wrangling, and analysis.
• Utilize knowledge of data structures, analytics, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals to prepare datasets, conduct analytics, and develop deployable solutions under guidance.
• Analyze and incorporate complex and new data sources into analytical solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on ideation, design, analysis, and process improvements.
• Deploy AI and ML solutions on Google Cloud Platforms.
• Leverage large data sources to generate business insights and features for innovative solutions.
• Understand both structured and unstructured data sources.

Required Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in Data Science and/or AI/ML.
• M.S. or higher in Computer Science, or related fields like Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering, with strong computer science skills.
• Fundamentals of machine learning, deep learning, NLP, cloud computing, multi-agent systems, data analysis, programming, and AI ethics.
• Experience with agent frameworks (preferably Langchain), proprietary/open-source LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and Vector Databases.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Agentic AI.
• Experience evaluating, testing, and monitoring GenAI/Agents.
• Google Cloud Platform experience.
