The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is seeking an Agent – Luggage to transport guest luggage to and from rooms while promoting hotel services and features to guests.

This on-site role requires safety awareness, strong English communication, flexible hours including nights and weekends, and the ability to work with a diverse team to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age.
• Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
• High school diploma.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Driver’s License and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
• 1 year of experience as a Luggage Agent or Bellman in a hotel or resort.
• Current DMV report.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Escort guests and handle, deliver, and store luggage to ensure a satisfactory arrival/departure experience.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly at all times.
• Maintain knowledge of department policies and hotel services.

The primary responsibility of the Agent – Luggage is to transport guest luggage to and from their assigned room while selling the hotel services and features to our guests. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures. This is a safety-related position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Create a delightful arrival and departure experience, which includes escorting guests to their destination, handling, delivering and storing guest luggage when needed in order to create an overall satisfactory experience for the guest.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
• Identify and explain hotel and suite facilities and features to guests.
• Must be familiar with and able to demonstrate the guest room technology upon guest arrival.
• Drive House Cars in order to complete off property requests by guests and/or management.
• Safety is an essential function of this job.
• Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

Must be able to

• Lift or carry 50 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
