Job summary

Knights of Columbus is seeking an Agent Communications Associate to support internal communications for the field force in Connecticut. You will be the primary contact for the Field Management mailbox, maintain the Field Resources Sharepoint, and ensure the Agent Portal has up-to-date forms for agents to use.

• Ability to develop training materials and facilitate Spanish content for bilingual agents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Canva.

Responsibilities

Overview

The Agent Communications Associate will play a key role in supporting internal communications to the Knights of Columbus field force. Reporting to the Manager of Internal Communications and Strategy, this position will be the primary point of contact for the Field Management mailbox, maintain various internal communication channels for field agents such as the Agent Portal, and assist in content creation and distribution. This role ensures that agents receive engaging and effective communication from the Home Office.

Core Responsibilities

• Respond to all inquiries to the Field Management Mailbox.
• Maintain the Field Resources Sharepoint.
• Maintain the Agent Portal and ensure most accurate forms are available for agents to use.
• Facilitate with subject matter experts content development and communication design.
• Serve as backup to the manager including drafting, editing, and distributing Field Management announcements as needed.
• Lead drafting of messages to Field Force regarding software, including Dynamics.
• Coordinate with Marketing team on projects related to agent promotional material.
• Collaborate on projects with external industry associations including MDRT, NAFIC, and LAMP.
• Assist in increasing engagement with Field Management initiatives, contests, training materials, etc. and track their execution.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Skills Qualifications

Required

• Knowledge of Life insurance sales, Annuity and Financial products preferred.
• Knowledge of the sales environment, agency operations, tools, processes, and best practices for Knights Agents preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to give and receive feedback.
• Ability to develop training materials and facilitate Spanish content for Bi-lingual agents and the Hispanic market a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva.

Education

BS or BA degree, preferably in business communications or a related field.

Compensation

The wage range for this role takes into account a broad array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The range below applies as long as the work is performed in Connecticut; the Knights of Columbus reserves the right to adjust the wage range if the position is performed in another location. At the Knights of Columbus, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $58,500-$99,500.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of the workday.
