Job summary

East Alabama Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse to provide safe, holistic therapeutic care across the patient continuum. You will educate patients and families, administer medications, and follow established care pathways to improve outcomes. The role requires Alabama RN licensure and BLS within 90 days.

This 13-week contract includes an expectation to work every other weekend with 7 shifts per pay period. BSN is preferred, with 1–2 years Med/Surg experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing.
• AL Board of Nursing license required.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire date.
• BSN preferred.
• 1–2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred.

Administers Medications according to standard nursing practice. Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• $65/hr
• 13 week contract
• Expectation to work every other weekend and 7 shifts per pay period (3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next week)
